Selects JHIIC air product for new memory fab in South China
Air Products Chinese firm Fujian Jinhua integrated circuit (JHICC) has been selected to supply industrial gases for new memory fab.
Fab is located in Fujian (Jinjiang) Integrated Circuit Industrial Park, Quanzhou City of Fujian Province, in China, which is expected to serve as an industry base for the development of integrated circuit (IC).
Under the agreement, the Air Products will be engaged in the manufacture of a nitrogen plant that will supply the purity of a broad range of nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, helium and argon gases, to meet the requirements of the JHICC Fab.
Air Products China Industrial Gases President saw Chun Seong said: "We are very respected to be elected to support this important project in China's development of IC industry.
"We will continue to serve China's electronics manufacturing industry, which is achieving new pace of development under the country's 13th punch-year plan and strategy 'China 2025 Med'."
In 2014, the Chinese government has reported to invest billions of dollars in strengthening the domestic electronics manufacturing industry, resulting in the IC industry growing rapidly in the country.
South China's industrial gas vice president Jeff Fan of Air Products said: "We have been working in Southern China for 30 years and with a strong presence in the service of electronics and other industries with our safe, reliable and high quality gases. Is established and support and trust of local governments and our customers.
"This important supply contract will further strengthen our market position in this strategic sector."
Air Products has already established a reliable supply network in the Pearl River Delta, which is one of the major electronic manufacturing groups in China to meet the growing demand of industrial gases in the region.
